Yuri Jacobs

Yuri Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2013, Yuri founded Yes-Trips.com, an organization that organizes cultural trips to major events worldwide. Yuri expanded the company to 7 countries and continues to grow it rapidly. In 2020, Yuri joined The Stoke Travel Co. as a Brand Manager, responsible for HR, recruitment, business development, sales management, marketing, and general management. Previously, they worked as a Business Development Manager at SendCloud from 2014 to 2015. Yuri also co-founded and managed Tune-events, a company focused on organizing creative events in Maastricht from 2013 to 2014. Yuri interned at Startupbootcamp as a Business Intelligence and Events Intern in 2014. Yuri pursued their education at Maastricht University as a student from 2009 to 2014. Yuri gained sales experience as a Sales Associate at Nike from 2012 to 2013 and as a Sales Assistant at Tommy Hilfiger from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Yuri worked as the Director, Entrepreneur, and Event Planner at Way2go Maastricht, an event management company they co-founded, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they held a position as the Department Head Cashiers at Jumbo Supermarkten from 2010 to 2011.

Yuri Jacobs holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Maastricht University, which was obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed an exchange program in International Business at Universidad del Pacífico in 2012. Yuri also pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business Economics from Maastricht University between 2009 and 2011. Yuri participated in an AFS exchange year at Woodinville High School in 2008. Yuri'shigh school education was completed at Atheneum Alicebourg from 2002 to 2008, focusing on ASO and Economics-Mathematics. Additionally, Yuri has obtained certifications in Google Ads Search and Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals in 2021.
