Ginny Golden has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Ginny is currently serving as the Executive Creative Director at YETI since August 2020. Previously, they worked as a Freelance Creative Director for Kaiser Permanente Digital at Y Media Labs from May 2020 to August 2020.
Before that, Ginny held prominent positions at AKQA. From July 2018 to May 2020, they worked as the Executive Creative Director (360 Brand) for notable clients such as Nike, Amazon, US Soccer, Ticketmaster, Palms, and NRG. Prior to that, they served as the Group Creative Director from January 2014 to July 2018.
In 2018, Ginny took a brief hiatus to focus on motherhood and spent time with their two children, Ava and Augie. During this time, they cherished every minute with them and was on maternity leave.
Ginny'swork experience also includes a role as the Creative Director (Retail) for Verizon Destination Store at AKQA SF from June 2013 to December 2013. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director (Brand Communications) for renowned clients such as P&G, Levi's, Facebook, American Express, and Kraft at Wieden + Kennedy from December 2011 to June 2013.
Ginny's career started at AKQA in 2001, where they served as the Creative Director (Digital Brand) for Volkswagen, Kellogg's, Discovery Channel, and Crayola until January 2012. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Visual Designer (Digital Brand) at Magnet Interactive Studios, working with clients such as Nissan, Bank of America, and AT&T from 1997 to 2001.
Ginny Golden completed their education at American University between 1993 and 1997. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Multimedia Design and Development.
