Steve Barnett

Steve Barnett has a diverse work experience in product management and development roles. Steve is currently serving as the Principal Product Manager at YETI since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Made In as the Director of Product Development from March 2022 to July 2022, and as a Product Development specialist from September 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Made In, Steve worked at Ingersoll Rand as a Global Product Manager from October 2018 to September 2020. During their time there, they successfully led global cross-functional teams to streamline processes and achieve revenue targets. Steve implemented a meticulous VOC process and tailored training methods, resulting in exceeding diversification revenue targets. Steve also played a key role in pricing thousands of SKUs based on global pressures, consumer insights, and market trends.

Prior to their role at Ingersoll Rand, Steve worked at Textron in various roles. As a Product Manager for EZ GO + Off road from November 2017 to October 2018, they managed millions in revenue and increased margins to support business goals. Steve effectively collaborated with domestic and global suppliers and developed programs and promotions for new product offerings.

Before that, Steve served as an Accounting Manager for Tools + Test Equipment from July 2016 to November 2017. Steve reduced accounts receivable balances and drove cash growth through data-driven strategies. Steve also worked with third-party business leaders to drive revenue growth and margin expansion.

Steve began their career at Textron as a Territory Sales Manager for Tools + Test Equipment from December 2014 to June 2016. Steve successfully managed a $2.5 million territory, maintaining market share during challenging market conditions. Steve also served as a Product Specialist and Project Manager, leading initiatives to reduce inventory and improve the product development process.

Prior to Textron, Steve worked briefly at the National Association of Home Builders in a marketing role from June 2013 to September 2013.

Steve Barnett has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing, which they obtained from Tulane University. Steve has also obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2020.
