Thomas James Slater has extensive experience in software engineering, sound design, and production. Thomas James began their career in 2008 as a Sound Design and Production at Real U Pte Ltd, where they were the lead sound designer and audio producer on the AAA MMO title "Otherland". From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Front-End Engineer at Amplifier Strategies, where they were responsible for HTML templating, responsive CSS, Wordpress, Drupal, Node.js, and other technologies. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer at NeuStar, Inc., where they collaborated with architects, product managers, and other professionals. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at R/GA and Senior UI Developer at Idean. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Front End Software Engineer, Principal Associate at Capital One and a Freelance JavaScript Code Reviewer at PullRequest. Currently, they are a Full Stack Developer Team Lead and Front End Team Lead at YieldX, where they are leading the development of fixed income security applications, their workflows, analytics dashboards, and admin dashboards. Thomas James is also leading the creation and integration of an internal component library and its with material ui for design, including white-labeling, testing, and platform integration from POC to production.
