Emily Sipchen

Director Of Operations at Ylopo

Emily Sipchen is the Senior Director of Operations at Ylopo. Emily has over 10 years of experience in project management, marketing, and research.

Emily began their career as a Project Associate at Public Works, where they coordinated teams of up to seven individuals and managed the evaluation of federally funded education initiatives. Some of their major projects included being a core management team member for the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative and being a project evaluator for the Full Service Community Schools Initiative.

Emily then became an Internet Strategies Consultant--Marketing at TigerLead Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for managing client relations on accounts totaling over $200k/year. This included project planning, implementation and delivery, as well as designing and implementing research studies for more than 20 public schools using quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

After their time at TigerLead Solutions, Emily became a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs Leadership at Coro Southern California. In this role, they coordinated up to 30 school, district and community stakeholders per project around program implementation.

In 2013, Emily co-founded ShowKit, a software company that provides an all-in-one solution for event planners. Emily ran the company for two years before joining Ylopo in 2015.

Emily Sipchen has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Studies from Middlebury College.

Emily Sipchen reports to Howard Tager, Co-Founder & CEO. Emily Sipchen works with Juefeng Ge - Co-Founder, CMO & CPO, Chris Soto - CTO & CFO, and Dave De Guzman - Director of Recruiting.
