Derryck Fletcher

Derryck Fletcher currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at The Y in Central Maryland since November 2021. Derryck has been with Morgan State University since March 1997 as the Gospel Director for WEAA-FM, hosting the award-winning Gospel Grace Morning Show and overseeing gospel music programming. Previous leadership roles include Chief Operating Officer at Living Classrooms Foundation and Senior Vice President of Operations for Youth Development at Y of Central Maryland, where strategic organizational initiatives were implemented. Derryck served as Executive Director of the Franciscan Youth Center, Community Outreach Supervisor at the Maryland Food Bank, Director of Youth Organizing for SAFE & SOUND - BALTIMORE S CAMPAIGN FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH, INC., and Student Engagement Coordinator for Baltimore City Public Schools. Educational background includes Morgan State University and Kenwood High School.
