Kristy Lawson

Kristy Lawson is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within community organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Director at the YMCA of Central New York since September 2019, Kristy has also held positions as a Human Resources Associate and previously worked as the Development & Program Manager at RESPONSIVE TO OUR COMMUNITY INC. Notable past roles include Operations Manager at Oneonta Family YMCA, where responsibilities encompassed grant writing, financial compliance, and operational oversight, as well as providing administrative support in human resources at Lowe's Companies, Inc. Kristy's diverse background includes coaching, office management in the healthcare sector, and teaching, underscoring a commitment to community service highlighted by recognition as the United Way Civic Volunteer of the Year in 2007. Kristy holds a BA in Communications and German from Purdue University.
