Abi Husainy

Abi Husainy is an experienced educator and records specialist with a diverse background in various educational and archival roles. Currently serving as an Educator and Lead Teacher at the YMCA of Greater Boston since December 2016, Abi previously worked as a Sunday School Administrator in Brighton, Boston, from September 2012 to August 2016, and volunteered as a Museum Facilitator at the Metropolitan Waterworks Museum from March 2011 to June 2016. With a significant tenure at The National Archives in the UK from 1989 to 2010, Abi held several positions including Reader Advisor, Diplomatic and Colonial Records Specialist, and Acting Principal Records Specialist. Abi's academic credentials include ongoing studies at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, alongside degrees in Computer Studies from Brunel University, and Zoology from the University of Madras, complemented by education from West Thames College in London.
