Bill Blunck

Bill Blunck currently serves as Vice President of Operations at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines, a position held since June 2024. Prior to this, Bill was the Chief Operations Officer at Southeast Ventura County YMCA from August 2021 to June 2024 and the Director of Operations at Trail Point Aquatics & Wellness from August 2016 to November 2020, where Bill played a key role in the facility's opening and operational setup. Bill's extensive experience in the YMCA movement includes roles as Executive Director, Aquatics Director, and Membership Director at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City. Additionally, Bill has held positions at 24 Hour Fitness, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley in Arizona, and Iowa State University, contributing to various operational, membership, and programming initiatives. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Sport Science from Iowa State University.
