Madison Blackwell

Summer Assistant Camp Site Director / Camp Counselor at YMCA of Greater Indianapolis

Madison Blackwell currently serves as a Research Assistant at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and a Research Study Assistant at the University of Southern California, both roles initiated in January 2023. Simultaneously, Madison is a Jumpstart Corps Member with AmeriCorps since September 2021, focusing on literacy development for at-risk preschool children while enhancing skills in early childhood education and leadership. Additional experience includes acting as a Summer Assistant Camp Site Director/Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis since June 2022, supervising and engaging elementary students in creative and STEM activities. Madison has also worked as a Library Page at Pike Branch Library - IMCPL since January 2019, assisting in organizing materials and supporting community events for at-risk students. Additionally, Madison briefly held a position as a Seasonal Guest Advocate at Target in late 2020. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Southern California, expected to graduate in May 2025.
