Alvaro Rodriguez

Alvaro Rodriguez has extensive experience in after school program management, having worked at YMCA of Greater Long Beach for almost two decades. Alvaro has held various titles such as Executive Director of Expanded Learning, Operations Director of Expanded Learning, and Associate Program Director. Alvaro is responsible for overseeing multiple after school programs, managing staff, building relationships with stakeholders, and handling program budgets. Additionally, Alvaro has experience as a Site Manager, Program Leader, and Trainer at After School University. Alvaro began their career as a Recreational Aide at Long Beach Unified School District and holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
