Vice President Of Philanthropy And Marketing at YMCA of Three Rivers

Lisa Hood has a comprehensive work experience in the field of philanthropy and fundraising. Currently, they are the Vice President of Philanthropy at the YMCA of Three Rivers, where they lead a team that raises over $1.6 million annually to support the community. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Guelph as the Associate Director of Annual Giving, overseeing various fundraising initiatives and managing a team of front-line fundraisers. Before that, Lisa held positions at Queen's University, where they served as a Faculty Advancement Officer and an Annual Giving Officer, responsible for managing prospect lists, class projects, and telefundraising activities.

Lisa Hood (she/her) earned a BScH degree in Biology and Psychology from Queen's University between 2000 and 2004. Lisa then pursued further education at the University of Guelph, obtaining an MA degree in Leadership from 2010 to 2012. Before their university studies, Lisa completed their secondary education at (HTS) Holy Trinity School from 1996 to 2000, earning an OSSD. Lisa has also obtained various certifications related to mental health, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and instructional skills throughout the years.
