Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith has extensive experience in human resources and staffing, currently serving as a Human Capital Generalist at the YMCA of Western North Carolina since January 2022. Prior to this role, Rachel was the Recruiting and Engagement Coordinator at FirstLight Home Care of Asheville from February 2021 to January 2022. Rachel's career began at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where contributions were made as a Staffing and Scheduling Administrator and an Administrative Support Associate from February 2009 to February 2021. Educationally, Rachel holds a Master of Science in Human Resources from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from The University of Georgia.
