Jake Adamson has had a long and varied career in the software engineering industry. In 2021, they began working at Yobe Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they reorganized the code base to make delivering to customers faster and easier, as well as making development easier. Jake also gave overviews and demos of Yobe's product at CES and redesigned the demo app to follow the material design language and make it more user-friendly.
Prior to Yobe, Jake worked at MOTU as a Software Engineer from 2018-2021, where they worked on Digital Performer 10. Jake'sresponsibilities ranged from redesigning graphical elements to extending the graphics engine.
From 2017-2018, Jake worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Cadence Design Systems, where they helped move the company to an objected-oriented style by wrapping abstracted syntax tree node C structs into C++ classes.
Jake also had roles as a Grader at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2016-2017, an Intern at Telefunken-Elektroakustik from 2013-2014, an Intern at Q Division Music Services from 2011-2012, and an Intern at Sanctum Sound from 2010-2011.
Jake Adamson began their educational journey in 2009, when they attended the University of Hartford and earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies. Jake then continued their studies at the same university, earning an Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering Technology, both in 2014. In 2015, Jake Adamson transferred to the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2018.
