Rafael Maya

Rafael Maya has held a variety of roles in the technology industry since 2011. In that year, they served as a Board of Advisors for Odisea, a Mexican lingerie manufacturing company. In 2013, they founded and served as CEO of Linesnap, a mobile platform helping users find places with shortest wait times. From 2015 to 2021, they held various positions at YouVisit, Inbox, American Express, Flipboard, Caffeine, and Airtime, including Head of Product, VP of Product, Senior Product Manager, Lead Product Manager, and Director of Growth and Product Acquisition. In 2022, they co-founded YoCripto and serves as its President.

Rafael Maya began their education in 1998, when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. In 2000, they participated in an exchange program at McGill University, where they studied Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Rafael then went on to earn a Master of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex in 2003-2004, followed by a Master of Arts in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University in 2004-2005. In 2013-2014, they completed a program in Entrepreneurship at the Founder Institute.
