Wolfgang Schuster

Wolfgang Schuster has a diverse work experience in the field of software asset management and community engagement. Wolfgang is currently a Community Member at The Linux Foundation, where they actively participate in community-related activities. Prior to this role, they worked as a Business Value Advisor at Flexera Software LLC, specializing in advising businesses on the value of their software assets.

From 2018 to 2021, Wolfgang served as a Co-Founder and Software Asset Management and GDPR Consultant at COMPLION AG, where they played a key role in establishing the company and providing consulting services in the areas of software asset management and data protection.

Before their time at COMPLION AG, Wolfgang worked as a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche, where they provided expertise in license and software asset management processes. Wolfgang also played a significant role in internationalizing a training platform for SAM in multiple countries, including Australia, and developed an international certification program.

Prior to Deloitte, Wolfgang served as the Managing Director of European SAM Academy from 2012 to 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company and overseeing its operations.
