Tim McCosh

Tim McCosh has over 10 years of work experience in the insurance and hospitality industries. In 2019, they founded Yokahu, a Lloyds Coverholder focussed on Parametric Solutions to Climate Risk problems. Tim also serves as Principal of McCosh Consulting. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Meridian Risk Solutions Limited, where they held the role of Associate Director, Property Casualty and Specialty, as well as Senior Broker, Non Marine Division. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at THB Group plc, where they began as an intern and progressed to roles such as Broker, Trainee Broker/Assistant Account Handler, and Internship. In 2011, they also held a JLT Re Intern position at Jardine Lloyd Thompson. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Front of House Supervisor at Bridge of Cally Hotel. In 2006, they were a Ski Instructor at Whistler Blackcomb Ski and Snowboard School.

Tim McCosh began their educational journey in 2001 at Glenalmond College, where they attended until 2006. In 2007, they enrolled in Durham University and graduated in 2010 with a Bsc Hons Natural Sciences, majoring in Cell Biology, Anthropology, and Psychology. In April 2021, they obtained a certification in Imperial Business Analytics: From Data to Decisions from Emeritus.
