Motonari Tanabu is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of information systems, currently serving as Vice President and Professor at Yokohama National University since April 1999. Tanabu's expertise includes Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, and General Systems Theory, among others. Additional leadership roles include President of the Japan Association for Information Systems (JPAIS) and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors at JASAG, where Tanabu has contributed significantly since June 2011.
