Cihan Okyay has a wealth of work experience, starting with their role as an Instructor at EGITEK of Ministry of National Education in 2010. Cihan then interned at The National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology in 2009, working on the Pardus Linux project using Python. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at egnity, developing Web 2.0 projects, Facebook applications using Django, Symfony and PostgreSQL. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Software Developer at Edfor, developing the Edfor app using Python and Django. In 2013, they worked at Koding as a Software Developer and at Metglobal as a Lead DevOps Engineer and Technical Lead. Currently, they are the Head of Site Reliability Engineering at Yolcu360.
Cihan Okyay attended Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi from 2005 to 2008, where they studied Industrial Electronics. In 2012, they obtained a Software Engineering for Software as a Service certification from UC Berkeley.
