Katia Sassu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Katia began their career as a Merchandise Hostess and Trainer at Walt Disney World from September 2011 to September 2012. After that, they joined Booking.com in August 2013 and held various positions including Coordinator Hotels, Coordinator HD Projects Team, Product Specialist, Payments Coordinator, Global Accounts EMEA Coordinator, and Account Executive Booking Home. Katia worked at Booking.com until August 2018. From September 2018 to August 2021, Katia worked as an Implementation Executive at Egencia. Currently, they are employed at YOOBIC as an Implementation Project Manager, starting in November 2021. Throughout their career, Katia has developed a strong background in project management and holds a PRINCE2® certification.
Katia Sassu holds a Master's degree in Tourism Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, sede di Milano. Katia pursued this degree from 2003 to 2009 and specialized in Scienze Linguistiche. Prior to that, they completed their Diploma Linguistico from Liceo Scientifico Statale "G. Falcone e P. Borsellino" in Arese between 1998 and 2003, with a focus on Lingue e letterature straniere, generale. In addition to their academic background, Katia Sassu has obtained certification in project management. Katia holds a PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management, which they received from PeopleCert in December 2020. Subsequently, they earned the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management in January 2021, also from PeopleCert.
