Emma Jiang has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a 3D Production Specialist at YOOM starting in 2022, a Freelance Audio Engineer and Motion Graphics Designer since 2015, and various roles at the UC Berkeley Basic Needs Center starting in 2018. Their roles at the UC Berkeley Basic Needs Center include being a Food Pantry Coordinator and Student Lead from May 2019 to August 2021, where they managed logistics, operations, and communications for an emergency food relief resource serving thousands of students, staff, and faculty. Emma also designed and led effective trainings for volunteers, directed the internship program, and strategized methods to improve accessibility and sustainability of resources. Emma was previously a Food Pantry Outreach Committee Intern, where they worked with a group to design graphics, lead advocacy, and assist with pantry distributions, events, and programs.
Emma Jiang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science. Prior to that, they studied at Conestoga Senior High School from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Principles of Animation (Animation Bootcamp) from the School of Motion in March 2022. In terms of field of study, they focused on Motion Design at the School of Motion.
