Joao Palas Nogueira

Joao Palas Nogueira is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mobile application development and management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP since April 2015, Joao oversees the global iOS and Android apps and websites for NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER, managing teams ranging from 30 to over 110 professionals across Agile squads. Previous roles at YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP include Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager, where Joao was instrumental in defining app delivery strategies and scaling engineering teams. Joao's career also includes significant positions at THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP and Xpand-IT, focusing on mobile test analysis and development. Joao holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Engineering and Management and a degree in Information Systems and Technologies from Universidade do Minho.
