Trent Faris

Trent Faris is an accomplished Master Public Information Officer and Deputy at the York County Sheriff's Office since June 2012, where responsibilities include serving as the strategic communications advisor to the Sheriff and functioning as the primary spokesperson for a CALEA accredited law enforcement agency. Prior experience includes reporting and multimedia journalism at WBTV Charlotte, as well as roles in sports reporting at Comporium, account management at CBS Radio, and audio board operation at News Talk 1110 WBT. Trent Faris also served in the US Navy as an Aviation Ordnanceman. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies and History from Winthrop University.
