Alison Grace Clissold is a freelance choreographer and Butoh dancer with an extensive career in dance education and facilitation. Since September 2009, Alison has led projects at Alison Grace Dance, utilizing a unique blend of choreography, Butoh dance, and clinical psychology to engage diverse audiences and workshop participants. Current roles include Butoh dance teacher at York St John University, creative dance facilitator for Yorkshire Dance's "Leaps and Bounds" program, and dance workshop leader at Pyramid of Arts. Notable collaborations include work with Yumino Seki Butoh Dance, and participation in performances such as "Manjusaka- the Equinox flower" for the Coastal Currents festival, as well as a professional role in Interplay Theatre's interactive production of PAINT. Educational background includes a BA Hons. in Choreography from Falmouth University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Université Libre de Bruxelles.
