Pauline Couper has worked at York St John University since 2014, first as the Subject Director for Geography and then as the Associate Head of School for Geography & Liberal Arts. Prior to that, they worked at the University of St Mark & St John as a Research Coordinator and Senior Lecturer from 2002 to 2014.
Pauline Couper began their education at the University of Worcester in 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Geographical studies in 1995. Pauline continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geomorphology from 1995 to 2001. Later, from 2002 to 2004, Pauline pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Development in Higher Education at the University of Exeter.
