Michal Halamish

Michal Halamish has extensive experience in the field of engineering and management. Michal is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Yotpo since November 2021. Prior to this, they founded Hakvutza in 2015, where they managed all aspects of an online crowdfunding platform with over 4000 users. Michal also negotiated with local councils and supervised a team of 15 volunteers. From 2015 to 2021, Michal held the position of Head of Engineering at Micro Focus, leading a global team of software engineers, QAs, DevOps, and production OPS. Michal designed and deployed a cross-platform SaaS application for various customers. Before that, they served as a Research and Development Manager at HP Software from 2014 to 2015. Michal's earlier experience includes working as a Team Leader and Full Stack Developer at HPE Continuity from 2009 to 2013, a Flex Java Programmer at CheckM8 from 2008 to 2009, and a Java and Cobol Programmer at Amdocs from 2003 to 2008.

Michal Halamish completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computers and Math at Bar-Ilan University from 1999 to 2002.
