Mitch Sargent has held a variety of roles in the food and beverage industry since 2008. Starting as an Assistant Manager and Sommelier at Equus Restaurant, they then moved to Speedplay as an Inside Sales Regional Manager in 2010. In 2012, they became a Food and Beverage Manager at The Beverly Hilton, followed by a General Manager role at Michael's Restaurant in 2013. That same year, they were also a Sales Representative at Regal Wine Company, where they were responsible for +20% growth year over year in the territory and won multiple sales incentives and trips. In 2015, they became a Regional Sales Manager at Foley Family Wines, responsible for all General Market Sales for California across +30 brands. In 2019, they moved to Shannon Ridge Family of Wines as a Western Regional Sales Manager. In 2020, they became a Sales Manager at Sunrun, and in 2021 they took on the roles of Business Development and Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager at Yotta Energy.
Mitch Sargent attended Starr's Mill High School from 1999 to 2003, where they achieved an AP+ degree. Mitch then attended The University of Georgia from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a B.A in International Affairs, with a focus on International Relations, Security, and Economics. Sargent also holds certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust as an Advanced, Level 3, Sommelier, the Master Court of Sommeliers as a Certified Sommelier, and is CPR Certified and Tips Certified.
