Austin Prohl has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Austin began their career as a Resident Assistant at Pacific University, where they mentored and advised first-year students and contributed to building a strong community. Austin then worked as a Technical Support Intern at Turning Technologies, providing assistance and support to customers.
Austin then joined the University of Idaho as a Web Coordinator, where they implemented a new design for a high-traffic webpage and provided guidance on user interface decisions. Following this, they worked at OpenSourcery as a Drupal Developer, performing quality assurance testing and implementing various features for a large-scale site.
Afterwards, they worked at Phase2 as a Developer, managing multiple projects simultaneously and contributing to the launch of an Enterprise Drupal 8 site. Austin then moved on to Acquia, starting as a Customer Success Engineer, where they oversaw customer configurations and collaborated with a team to help customers overcome obstacles. Austin later transitioned to the role of a Technical Account Manager, providing technical guidance and advocacy for small to enterprise-scale accounts. Austin eventually became a Senior Technical Account Manager and Team Lead, overseeing client relationships and providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions.
Currently, Austin works at Yottaa as the Manager of Technical Account Managers. In this role, their primary focus is ensuring long-term customer success and satisfaction through technical product enablement. Austin serves as the main point of contact for customers throughout their lifecycle and performs tasks such as holding QBRs, triaging technical issues, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Throughout their career, Austin has demonstrated excellent technical skills, customer relationship management, and the ability to successfully deliver projects and support customers in various industries.
Austin Prohl attended Pacific University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Integrated Media with a focus on Art/Photography. In 2012, they transferred to the University of Idaho and studied Computer Science for one year. In 2013, they returned to Pacific University and pursued Integrated Media and Web Development until 2014. Additionally, Austin Prohl has obtained certifications such as the Acquia Certified Drupal 8 Site Builder from Acquia in October 2016, and an Acquia Certified Developer - Front End Specialist, though the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
