Ruth Bowen

Ruth Bowen is an experienced professional in sports and challenge events management, currently serving as the Sports and Challenge Events Team Manager at CLIC Sargent since July 2012. In this role, Ruth strategically manages a central portfolio of events, leading a team to create engaging and inspiring experiences for supporters, thereby fostering long-term relationships. Prior to this, Ruth held various positions including Running Events Manager and Challenge Events Manager at CLIC Sargent, as well as freelance roles in PR and copywriting. Ruth has a solid background in media and public relations, having worked as Media and PR Manager at CLIC Sargent and Press Officer at Sustrans. Ruth holds a degree in Public Relations from Bournemouth University and completed secondary education at Bishopston Comprehensive School.
