Mario Hipol

Mario Hipol has a diverse and extensive work history in the technology industry. Mario currently serves as the Director of Technology at Young Living Essential Oils, leading a global team responsible for driving technological excellence and innovation. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kornerstone Credit, where they played a pivotal role in developing financial solutions within the lease-to-own sector. Mario also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at UnitedHealth Group and Knowlysis, where they developed tools for parsing medical claim data and worked on projects for a national accounting organization. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Aculis, where they led the development of a project called "Safe Routes For Schools" and worked with clients such as UDOT and Universal Music. Mario also has experience as the President/CEO of Carpe Geekem Inc., where they managed development projects for companies like Payless Shoe Source and Google. Mario worked as a Senior Software Architect/Project Manager at Pre-employ.com, developing a custom .NET solution, and as a Software Developer at Iomega, where they worked on hardware and drive testing software. Mario Hipol completed their education as follows: from 2013 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Business degree with a specialization in Management and Leadership from Capella University. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they obtained a Technical Certification in Programming from the Certified Careers Institute. Mario also attended Shasta College from 1995 to 1997 for a general degree and graduated from Thomas Downey High School in 1991 with a General Education Diploma. Mario Hipol has additional certifications, including Certified SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant obtained in September 2024, Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant obtained in March 2020, Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master obtained in September 2019, and Scrum Master Accredited Certification obtained in 2016.
