Bayan Abunijem

Bayan Abunijem is a dedicated individual with significant leadership experience at the University of South Carolina, where roles include Co-Founder and President of Minorities in America, Resident Mentor for first-year students, and Treasurer of the Muslim Students Association. With a passion for community service, Bayan has organized various volunteer initiatives as President and Event Coordinator of the Pre-Dental Club, promoting oral health among elementary school children and collaborating with local organizations. Additionally, Bayan has been actively involved with Young Muslims, contributing to fundraising efforts for Syrian refugees and water well projects in Mali, Africa. Practical healthcare exposure was gained through the MedEx Academy internship program at Prisma Health, and earlier work experience includes customer service at Publix Super Markets. Bayan holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a high school diploma from Greenville Technical Charter High School.
