Valinda Barrett Wolfert is an experienced legal professional and community advocate with over three decades in finance law. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Young Women's Preparatory Network and as a member of the Law School Association Council at the University of Georgia School of Law, Valinda also contributes to the nonprofit Connecting Point of Park Cities as a board member and advisory board member after previously serving as treasurer. Valinda's legal career includes significant roles as a retired partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP, specializing in financial transactions, and as a shareholder at Winstead PC in the banking practice. Valinda's advocacy work in education spans nearly two decades within the Highland Park Independent School District, focusing on special education needs. Valinda holds a J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and a B.A. in English from Wake Forest University.
