James Allan has extensive experience in the seafood industry, currently serving as a Department Manager at Youngs Seafood Limited since June 2000, overseeing the Salmon Deli, Packaging Store, and Dispatch departments. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management of operations, adherence to customer specifications, and staff planning to achieve production targets. Prior to this role, James managed the Salmon High, Salmon Deli, and Salmon Final Pack departments, contributing to operational efficiency from June 2000 to March 2012. Earlier experience includes serving as Factory Manager at Ghillie & Glen from March 1999 to May 2000, where management of factory operations and budget oversight were key duties. James holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and obtained Standard Grades from Forrester Academy between 1970 and 1974.
