James Jamison, MD, FAAOS, is an orthopedic specialist with extensive experience in hip and knee joint replacement and reconstruction surgery. Since August 1997, James has been a partner at Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates, serving as a full-time staff member at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods. Prior to this, James completed an Otto E. Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at New England Baptist Hospital from August 1996 to July 1997 and underwent rigorous training at UPMC as an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident, Research Fellow, and Surgical Intern from July 1990 to June 1996. James earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina between 1982 and 1986 and received a medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine from 1986 to 1990. Education was initiated at Woodberry Forest School from 1979 to 1982.
