Marta Wilgan

Marta Wilgan is the Head of Engineering at YouNow. Marta has over five years of experience in the tech industry, with a focus on mobile development.

Marta started their career at YouNow as an iOS Developer in July 2015. Marta was responsible for implementing new features and fixing bugs in the app. In June 2018, they were promoted to Mobile Lead. In this role, they coordinated releases for the iOS and Android apps and managed a team of mobile developers.

In March 2020, Marta was promoted to Head of Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all engineering departments and coordinating with other teams within the company to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Marta Wilgan received their Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from New York University, with minors in web applications and business.

They work with Muchen Zhou - VP, Data & Analytics, Nicki Kile - Control Freak, and Annie Blanco - Community Lead. Marta Wilgan reports to Jon Brodsky, CEO.
