Joel Westerhof

Joel Westerhof, CA, MBA has a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. Joel started their career at Deloitte & Touche as a Manager in Enterprise Risk Services. Joel then moved to Sun Life Financial where they held various director roles, overseeing expense management, wealth reporting, controls, and insurance reporting. Currently, they work at Your Neighbourhood Credit Union as the Director of Finance, responsible for managing the mortgage securitization portfolio, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and implementing accounting standards changes.

Joel Westerhof holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph. Joel furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from McMaster University. Additionally, they are a Chartered Accountant, having completed their education through the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
