Pavlos Kallis

Pavlos Kallis is an experienced software engineering professional with a strong background in backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as Head of Backend Engineering at YourHero since May 2021, Pavlos leads a team of backend developers and devops engineers while overseeing backend architecture, code quality, and technical roadmaps. Prior to this role, Pavlos held positions including Senior Software Engineer at both Centaur Analytics, Inc. and Testributor, where significant contributions were made towards system architecture, performance optimization, and the development of innovative solutions such as a pest detection prototype using machine learning. Furthermore, experience includes military service developing web applications for the Greek Army, and earlier software engineering roles at companies such as incrediblue and CERTH. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor and Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Thessaly.
