Hilda Hernandez

Hilda Hernandez, LSW, QMHP, has over a decade of experience in social work and mental health services, currently serving as an Operations Project Manager at Youth Guidance since November 2013. In this role, Hilda is responsible for program management, collaboration with school-based initiatives, budget planning, and recruitment of program staff. Hilda has also held various positions within the Working on Womanhood (W.O.W) program, including Supervisor and Counselor, focusing on gender-specific counseling services. Additional experience includes participation in the Young Nonprofit Leadership Series, serving as a Summer Visiting Fellow, and providing outpatient therapy at Ada S. McKinley Community Services. Hilda possesses a Master’s Degree in Children and Family Services/Mental Health from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and English from the same institution.
