Alex Sivewright has a diverse range of work experience in project management, account management, and business development. Alex began their career as a Business Development Executive at Target 250, where they generated face-to-face meetings with key contacts in SMEs and Blue Chip companies. Alex then worked as a Business Development Executive at RandomStorm Ltd, where they focused on renewing and acquiring new business through resellers.
Alex later joined Smoothwall Ltd as a Corporate Channel Manager, responsible for managing and recruiting resellers in the UK corporate sector. Alex also served as a Senior Channel Account Manager, overseeing a team that supported over 600 partners in the SME, education, and government sectors.
Subsequently, Alex worked at Sangfor technologies as a Channel Manager, where they restructured the channel partner scheme, managed and recruited resellers, and oversaw the Leeds office. Alex then joined BT as a Business Development Manager, specifically at BT Local Business.
Alex continued their career at Science Warehouse Ltd as an Account Development/Project Manager, working closely with key customers to enhance their experience and manage account-specific projects. Alex later joined Communisis as a Change Analyst/Project Manager, where they managed strategic projects for clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays, HMRC, and LV.
Currently, Alex is employed at Youwe as a Lead Project Manager, overseeing a team of consultants, developers, designers, marketers, and strategists in delivering digital projects for international clients.
Alex Sivewright completed a PRINCE 2 Practitioner degree in Project Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a 2.1 BA (Honours) degree in Resort Management from Leeds Beckett University, which was completed from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Alex has also obtained several additional certifications including AgilePM® Practitioner from APMG International in 2023, AgilePM® Foundation from APMG International in 2022, and the Conversational Marketing Course from Drift in 2019.
