Julio Sernaglia

Julio Sernaglia possesses extensive experience in emerging technologies and cybersecurity within the oil and gas sector, having served in various leadership roles at YPF SA since June 2010. As the Head of Emerging Technologies and Cybersecurity OT, Julio leads the evaluation and selection of automation technologies and is responsible for the Upstream TO Cybersecurity Strategic Plan. Previous positions include managing digital oilfield projects and automation strategies for unconventional wells, overseeing telesupervision and control programs, and leading maintenance teams focused on control and safety systems. Julio's career also includes project management roles at Tecnet S.A. and VAI Ingdesi Automation, specializing in DCS and SCADA systems. Julio holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Mendoza and completed professional education at MIT.
