Janika Tikkala

Janika Tikkala is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications and Head of Communications at Suomen Yrittäjät ry, the largest business federation in Finland, since March 2019. Prior to this role, Janika worked as a Special Adviser to the Prime Minister in the Prime Minister's Office from June 2015 to March 2019 and as a Personal Assistant to the Opposition Leader in the Parliament of Finland from February 2014 to June 2015. Janika’s background also includes journalism at the STT Finnish News Agency and various other media outlets. Janika holds a Master of Arts degree in history with a focus on Finnish political history and political science, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, corporation law, communication, and political science, both from the University of Oulu.
