Eduardo Cortés

Eduardo Cortés has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Eduardo began their career as a Programador at Empresas Verschae, where they were responsible for analysis and requirements gathering for a fleet management software. In 2007, they joined SOCOFIN S.A (Normalización Banco de Chile) as an Analista de Sistemas. Eduardo then moved to Hites in 2010, where they were the Jefe de Operaciones Cobranzas, responsible for the daily operations of the Collection Sub-Management, with 3 administrative staff under their supervision. In 2014, they returned to SOCOFIN S.A (Normalización Banco de Chile) as Jefe de Robótica y Canales - Gerencia Procesos Transversales, where they were in charge of bot and channel management (SMS, LANDING, MAIL, OTROS) using Genesys Cloud, as well as project integration with CMR. In 2021, they joined Transportes O'Ryan LTDA. as ASESOR DE LOGÍSTICA SANTIAGO – TRANSPORTES ORYAN, where they were the coordinator of mobile (trucks) for product pickup from Santiago to the north of the country. Eduardo then joined SQM in 2022 as a Senior Data Engineer, where they were responsible for data of the management using Azure, data analysis in Python, and development of APP SERVICE in Django (Python). Eduardo is currently at Sumeria as a Data Engineer.

Eduardo Cortés has a long educational history. Eduardo graduated from Universidad Andres Bello in 2023 with a degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Universidad de Santiago de Chile, where they earned a degree in Ingeniería Civil Informática with a field of study in Ingeniería informática. Eduardo also attended Duoc UC from 1998 to 2003, where they earned an Ingeniero Ejecución en Informática degree with a field of study in Sistemas, Informática, Procesos. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Fundamentos del networking profesional from LinkedIn in December 2022, Comercio electrónico from Google Actívate in October 2021, Fundamentos de la programación: Bases de datos from LinkedIn in October 2021, Python esencial from LinkedIn in October 2021, and Cloud Computing from Google Actívate.
