Junko S.

Junko S. has a comprehensive work experience spanning several years. Junko began their career in 2002 as a Senior Web Designer at PETA, where they fulfilled the duties of Creative Director and contributed to the development and maintenance of websites. In 2007, they worked at The Hive as a Graphic Designer, focusing on logo and icon design, advertisement pieces, and print materials. Junko then joined IAC/Match.com as a Graphic Designer, specializing in user interface design and creating landing pages.

In 2011, Junko became an Art Director at Extensis, where they designed magazine and digital advertisements, developed brand guidelines, and created product packaging designs. Junko then worked as a Graphic Designer and UI/UX Designer at Creative Circle, where they designed e-commerce user experiences and interfaces for a high-end hair stylist product brand.

From 2019 to 2021, Junko worked at Oracle as a Web Designer, redesigning internal websites and facilitating user experience research. Junko also gained expertise in using Oracle Content and Experience system.

In 2021, they joined Celigo as a Digital Designer, conceptualizing and developing various marketing materials to promote the brand. At UC Davis Health, from 2022 to 2022, Junko held the position of UX Designer III/Web Designer. Junko S. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art, Art History from Western Washington University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In 2019, they completed multiple certifications in the field of massage therapy. Junko obtained a Certified Massage Therapist certification from the California Massage Therapy Council, a Licensed Massage Therapist certification from the Nevada State Board of Massage Therapy, and a Certification of completion in Massage Therapy from Northwest Career College. Additionally, they passed the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (Mblex) administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards in March 2019.
