Nikhil Bhatia

Nikhil Bhatia has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Nikhil is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Yugabyte, where they are responsible for building the next-generation DBaaS platform for YugabyteDB. Prior to that, Nikhil worked at Nutanix in various roles, including Director of Engineering and Senior Engineering Manager, where they played a key role in building and scaling Nutanix LCM, the orchestrator for upgrading software stack and firmware across multiple hardware vendors. Nikhil also worked as a Staff Engineer at VMware, contributing to the development and enhancement of vCenter server to improve its scalability and performance. Nikhil has also worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a Research Associate, where they designed and developed a virtual cluster automation framework, and at the Innovative Computing Laboratory (ICL) as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they enhanced features of a performance analysis toolkit.
