Richard Barker

Richard Barker is a seasoned technician with extensive experience in computer repair and educational support. Currently serving as a Computer Repair Technician at Go2IT Group since January 2011, Richard specializes in the installation, programming, troubleshooting, and repair of computers and electronics, particularly in hydro-electrical power plant SCADA systems, and has developed a PC-based fuel monitoring system. Concurrently, Richard has been an AVID tutor at Yuma Union High School District since May 2009, guiding students toward college readiness and acting as a mentor. Previous roles include sub-teacher at Gadsden City Schools and tutor at Sureprep, as well as Instrumentation and Control Technician at CalEnergy, where Richard managed complex monitoring devices and SCADA systems. Richard holds certifications in Hazardous Materials Management from Arizona Western College and completed training in Computer Programming at Control Data Institute.
