Katy Barfield has been in the food industry since 2006. Katy started their career as the Director & Founding CEO of SecondBite. In 2012, they joined Spade & Barfield as a Director and CEO. In 2014, they founded Yume Food Australia and has served as its Founder & CEO since then. Under Katy's leadership, Yume Food has prevented more than 3 million kilograms of surplus food from going to waste and has won several awards, including three Victorian Premier's Sustainability Awards.
Katy Barfield attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2011, and received an MA from Arts Educational Schools London.
