Juan Alberto Rivera Medina

Juan Alberto Rivera Medina has a diverse work experience in the field of telecommunications. Juan Alberto started their career as an Implementation Manager at Netosphera Network Solutions in 2009, where they coordinated the implementation of telecommunications projects for various companies. Juan Alberto was also responsible for site surveys and the installation and maintenance of equipment such as Ericsson MiniLink, Siemens Xral and XD, and NSN Flexihopper.

In 2011, Juan worked as a RAN Implementation Manager for Claro Account at Ericsson, where they planned, allocated, and coordinated the implementation of works for TX and BTS equipment. Juan Alberto also handled troubleshooting and cleanup tasks.

From 2011 to 2013, they operated their own company as a Freelancer, providing implementation management services for telecommunications projects. During this time, they implemented links using equipment from Ericsson, Siemens, and NSN. Juan Alberto also conducted site surveys and managed PMP and PTP technology implementation and maintenance.

Juan joined Ericsson El Salvador in 2013 as a TX Implementation Manager for the Digicel Account. In this role, they planned, coordinated, and implemented works for TX equipment. Juan Alberto was involved in the implementation of TN/IP Links, SPOs, and XPIC links.

Juan Alberto then worked at Huawei Technologies in 2014 as a Site Survey and Design Coordinator for Region 5. Here, they planned, allocated, and coordinated activities for site survey visits and site design, ensuring compliance with Huawei procedures and customer directives.

Returning to Netosphera Network Solutions in 2014 as an Implementation Manager, Juan continued to coordinate the implementation of telecommunications projects, conduct site surveys, and manage PMP and PTP technology.

In 2015, they rejoined Ericsson El Salvador as a TX Implementation Manager, where they planned, allocated, and coordinated implementation works for TX equipment. Juan Alberto was involved in swaps/upgrades of links and the expansion of XPIC links.

From 2016 to 2020, Juan served as a Senior Implementation Manager at Netosphera Network Solutions. Juan Alberto coordinated the implementation of telecommunications projects, conducted site surveys, and managed PMP and PTP equipment.

In 2020, they joined Digicel El Salvador as a Rollout Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the planning, allocation, and coordination of implementation works for various projects, including LTE site expansion, 3G site upgrades, and MW and FO SDH ring swaps.

Most recently, Juan started working at Yupana Inc. in 2022 as a Field Engineer. Juan Alberto'sresponsibilities include the installation of MicroCells, MW, and HFC, as well as warehouse management and logistics.

Throughout their career, Juan has gained in-depth knowledge and experience in the telecommunications industry, covering various aspects such as installation, implementation, maintenance, and project coordination.

Juan Alberto Rivera Medina attended the Centro de Estudios Tecnológicos industrial y de Servicios #77 from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a certification as an Administration Technician. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in computer science at the Instituto Tecnológico de León from 1993 to 1999, although they did not complete the degree. In addition to their formal education, in May 2010, Juan obtained the NSN FlexiHopper O&M and Installation certification from Nokia Siemens Networks.
