Amy Gruss

Amy Gruss has over 20 years of work experience in the design industry. Amy began their career in 1999 as an Interior Design Intern/Assistant at Laura Bohn Design Associates, where they updated and organized fabric and sample libraries, organized project inspiration binders, and prepared purchase orders and corresponded with vendors. In 2004, they joined Thad Hayes, Inc. as an Interior Design Project Coordinator, where they assisted the president and interior designers with client meetings including preparation of textile samples, FF&E selections and presentation boards. Amy also obtained quotes, issued proposals and invoices to clients, generated purchase orders, and distributed client payments to vendors. In 2009, they became a Marketing Assistant at Shadley Associates, where they prepared proposals to obtain new Landscape Architecture work, organized marketing database information, and designed and submitted all advertisements for the firm. In 2010, they joined Heather Wells, Inc. as an Interior Design Project Coordinator, where they performed similar duties as at Thad Hayes, Inc. In 2012, they became a Marketing Manager at The Loop Loft, and in 2020, they joined Yurt Rock as a Digital Asset Manager.

Amy Gruss attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an AAS in Interior Design. Prior to that, they attended Texas Tech University from 1997 to 1999, studying Interior Design.
