Saahirah Mohsin

Saahirah Mohsin is an emerging leader and civic advocate with diverse experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Changemaker at YVote, Saahirah engages in examining civic and political issues while developing leadership and public speaking skills. As an Empowerment Academy Graduate and Peer Mentor with Project Glimmer, Saahirah mentors young girls in essential skills such as strategic goal-setting and teamwork. In the role of Civic Fellow at Next Generation Politics, discussions on critical issues are led, and events are organized to promote civic engagement. Saahirah participates in the Foreign Policy Youth Collaborative as an Apprentice, focusing on youth voices in political discourse, and has won a scholarship as a Griptape Challenger for pursuing ceramics. Additionally, experience includes data science education through Kode With Klossy and leadership as Vice Chair of ASPIRA. Saahirah is a dedicated student at Valley Stream Central High School, expected to graduate in 2025.
