Alicia Williams

Alicia Williams has had extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alicia most recently worked as the VP of Finance at YWCA Metro Vancouver starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Governance Associate at WATSON Advisors Inc. from August 2021 to June 2023. Alicia also held the position of VP Finance and Administration at CHIMP (Charitable Impact) from October 2018 to May 2021. Before that, they worked as a Strategic Management Consultant at AJile Concepts from 2015 to October 2018. Alicia also has experience as a CFO at GlyEco, Inc. from October 2008 to September 2015 and as a Lawyer at Williams Young, PLLC from 2008 to 2013. Alicia started their career as an Intern at IBM from February 1998 to December 1999 and at PwC from June 1997 to August 1997. Alicia also worked as a Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager at Intel Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

Alicia Williams earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems & Accounting from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in 1999. Alicia later pursued a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in American/U.S. Law/Legal Studies/Jurisprudence from the University of Southern California, which they completed in 2007. Alicia has also obtained several additional certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in 2017 and an Attorney State Bar License from the State Bar of Arizona in 2008. Alicia has recently acquired certifications in Indigenous Canada, Diversity and Inclusion, Advanced Gender Diversity, NFP Governance Essentials, and is also a Certified Public Accountant certified by the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia in 2020.
